Dense, upright rounded shrub with dark lustrous green leaves and gray berries that persist throughout the winter. Suckers freely forming large colonies. Adapts well to most soil types and is salt tolerant. Foliage turns deep red in autumn. Very aromatic when crushed. Sun or partial shade, well-drained soil.
